Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated:
Major General Robert W. Wagner, United States Army, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment as Deputy Commander, United States Joint Forces Command, Norfolk, Virginia. He is currently serving as the Commanding General, United States Army Southern European Task Force (Airborne), Vicenza, Italy.
